There are no pyramids in Panama, not like in Mexico and Guatemala.  There are however several pre-Columbian archaeological sites, especially on the Azuero Peninsula, that are interesting to history buffs, as well as a lot of more recent historical sites from the time Balboa began the exploration of Panama.
